Yes, it looks like you either couldn't decide what color you wanted, or you were painting one hand and you forgot to paint the other. If you want both colors then alternate fingers so it would be blue,red,blue,red, etc or use one color to paint the base and use the other to paint a design such as polka dots or stripes, to do this you will either need a nail polish pen, or get a toothpick and use that instead of the nail polish brush
no - i do weird things with my nails all the time! and its good to be different, it makes you stand out when you meet new people. :)

My daughter just painted hers apple green. Looks better than I thought it would.
red and black are so unoriginal. if you can get your nails professionally done in a design, like different patterns (checkerboard, zig zag, french tips, etc.) in your fave colors.
A really cool design is all white or clear nailpolish with black or purple tips, like a backwards french manicure.

As for your nails, don't paint them at all-toluene, the main ingredient in nail polish, is the most toxic substance known to man, and it's easy to accidentally ingest it from painted nails. So look out for your own health and the environment and don't use it.

My mother's doc said it was lack of calcium, if they are turning a yellow color you have a fungi which is treatable. The drug store has has different brands.
