Place a sharp paring knife into the orange and run the knife along the inside of the peeling rolling the orange as you cut..when you have completely encirled the orange with the knife you can pop it out of the peel and then slice off the ends and enjoy!

You use the toothbrush-looking end to peel the rind, and then use the flat tail end to separate the segments.
Try using a teaspoon.
peel it with the knife just like you are doing with an apple's skin and then cut it with it in pieces. it wont be perfect but its a way

Try here or just do a search for orange peelers. But personally I love the smell it leaves on my fingers. :D
I put my hand into a sandwich baggie (the thicker ziplock kind) and peel it. You are still using your finger/nails to peel it through the plastic, but it is A LOT less messy and you don't get the gunk under your nails!
