I can't find black nailpolish so I was going to use a black permanant marker but, how permanant is it? Will rubbing alcohol take it off? Thanks! (By the way, I'm not going to color all my fingernails black-goth like--I was only going to paint stripes down the middle for a day or two which is why I need to know what will take the marker off)Will rubbing alcohol take permanant marker off of fingernails?
I don't think so.. it just has to wear off on it's own
Go to Hot Topic for black nailpolish. Will rubbing alcohol take permanant marker off of fingernails?
No but finger nail polish remover will. Rubbing alcohol will not work because it's not the same thing as nail polish remover.
try nailpolish remover
put a speck of black on and see if would come off, i think it will
It might come off with alcohol, but it really depends. Hehe..your nails will prolly smell, but do whatcha want.
Good luck ~ Elle
You know what might work well? Is painting clear nail polish on then drawing the stripe...and using rubbing alcohol should work ....test it on a small part of your nail...
No!!!, but Acetone will.
It should work provided you do not get it into the cuticles which should be difficult. Try it on a couple of your toe nails - put the marker on, let it dry and then remove it. White spirit, or a small drop of petrol will also remove it...............
i'm not sure try putting a dot of permanent marker on your nail and see if it comes off, it should come off but i'm not sure if it doesn't then it should just wear off after a while. Try going to a beauty store if you already haven't.
It will take it off but be careful because it may be kinda harmful to your nails.
i have put permanent on my finger nail before, if you do, after a couple of time of washing you hands it will turn purple. but if you use nail polish remover it should work. if you put the marker over you nail polish, it should come off when you want to take your nail polish off.
ya as will polish remover a strong one
Sounds cool...Add some more colors with it...Nail polish remover should do the trick!!
Rubbing alcohol might work, but I'll bet nail polish remover would work even better -- that stuff can get permanent marker off of a dry-erase board with a little time and a little elbow grease.
nope wont work....
