What does it mean to have little white dots under your fingernails?

I have those too! I went to a doctor and they told me it was not serious, and it was just a calcium build-up. Do you have pimples on your face that seem hard or impossible to pop? Those are calcium, too. I have about 3 on my face that I will have to have extracted.What does it mean to have little white dots under your fingernails?
It's calcium build up under your fingernails. Nothing harmful, just not attractive. I've had it before, and it has gone away as the nail has grown out.
you just bumped or poked you're nail funny. its no big deal. it'll just grow out when your nail grows
